Using Captions Alive Pro with ProShow Producer

This tutorial was recorded in Producer 4.5, but the concepts of using the CAP video file as a mask works the same in 5.0

Hi This is an exact copy of a previous question. “Thank you for the wonderful tutorials. I am having a problem with captions alive. When I save the avi file and try to pull it into producer 5, it continues to tell me it’s not a valid image or video file. What am I doing wrong?”

Using the evaluation copy at present. After building caption it plays fine in several media players but when I try to import into producer I get above message. I’ve downloaded several code packages K Lite etc but still no joy.

I wondererd if there were restrictions on evaluation copy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello, I’m a 2-day rookie with Proshow Producer. My question is: where could I find training or assistance using the Captions Alive in Proshow Producet. I would like to import text to a few slides simular to how it was done in the video. Thanks

I love your tutorials since the way you explain them is easy to understand. Just purchased Captions Alive and Highlighter pro and can get my caption (after watching your tutorial), but the highlighter tutorial on their site leaving my head spinning. Looks like a great addition, but reminds me when I try to show someone how to do something and forget that they know nothing about it. Any chance you can do one on highlighter???

I’ve used Captions Alive but I hadn’t used it as a mask so this was very helpful. Thanks.
