Sorting and Creating Your Own Style Categories

Do you ever have trouble finding a specific Style you're looking for?  You know exactly what it's called, how many photos it takes...but you just can't find it!  Well, you can take control of the categories that all of your Styles are in.  You can move them around and even create new ones.

To start, you must find a Style (or group of Styles) you want to categorize.

Open the Effects Window and click on the Slide Styles Tab:

If you know the name of the Style, you can go right to it and select it.  If you're not sure where it is, click on All Categories and make sure that the Aspect Ratio is set to "All Ratios" and the Layers is set to "All Layers".  These two settings are the #1 reason you may not be able to find a style you're looking for...they may be hidden due to those settings.

Once you have your Style (or Styles) selected, the "Categorize" button at the bottom will become un-ghosted.  Click on the Categorize Button.

You'll see the category that your Styles are already in checkmarked.  From here, you can check as many categories as you'd like your Styles to appear in or create new categories by clicking on the "Add" button at the bottom of this Categories window.

That's it!  Taking the time to organize your styles in a way that works best for you will save you time when you're working on a project and you need to find the perfect Style fast!
