Time to Reflect!
One of the most beautiful effects you can create in Producer is a simple reflection. It is easy to do and can be completed in just a couple of steps (with no motion, that is).
Add your photo and make sure it is small enough to have a reflection underneath. I used a 60% zoom with a Fit to Frame Scaling.
Now, right click on your photo and choose "Duplicate".
In the Adjustments Tab, select the bottom layer and click on the "Flip - Vertical" checkbox.
In the Layers Settings Tab, move your bottom photo so that it is underneath the top photo. Make sure your X coordinates are the same (I used "0", to keep it centered).
Then, right click again on that bottom layer and choose "Add Masking Layer>Add Gradient". In the Create Gradient Window set your Preset to "Simple" and your Type to "Linear". Choose Black and White. If your black and white gradient isn't perfectly straight, change the Angle to 270 degrees. Now, we want a little more white on top to create just the right effect. So, click and drag your White color stay keyframe almost to the middle.
This is what your layer list should look like. It looks pretty good, but we can do one more thing to make this reflection look much more realistic. Select that bottom photo and add a nice Blur to about 20%
Isn't that beautiful!
